KENT MOVES TO TOP PLACE IN WORLD BOWLING TOUR RANKINGS FOLLOWING WIN IN OKLAHOMA
LAUSANNE, July 5th – Marshall Kent’s win in Oklahoma over the weekend has bumped him from second to first place on the World Bowling Tour Rankings list. USA’s Kent replaces English bowler, Dominic Barrett for the top spot.
Four time PBA Title holder Kent has had successful placings in last the two years of the World Bowling Tour and his win in Oklahoma secured his spot of 273 points ahead of Barrett on 249. The 24year old from Washington placed third in the World Bowling Tour Finals earlier this year and with just the Malmo, Bangkok and PBA World Championship stops left on the tour for 2017, he will remain a strong contender for making the Finals in November this year.
Other notable mentions to the top ten list are the entry of Sweden’s Jesper Svensson into 9th spot bumping out USA’s Tommy Jones from 10th to 11th place and Finland’s Osku Palermaa who now sits 15th from 10th after receiving no points in the 2017 period.
