World Bowling appoints TSE Consulting to drive international recognition

The World Tenpin Bowling Association (WTBA) has appointed TSE Consulting to assist them in improving their recognition worldwide and particularly within the world of international sport.

Working in cooperation with TSE, WTBA wants to enhance the organisation’s image as the worldwide governing body of bowling and strengthen its position as a recognised Olympic sport. TSE Consulting has a wide-scale understanding of developing global recognition for international sports organisations based on its years of experience working with various international federations and national associations around the world. Previously, TSE assisted the WTBA in strengthening their bid process, which has recently resulted in the appointment of Abu Dhabi for the next men’s and women’s World Championship in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

WTBA President, Kevin Dornberger said: “Over the last few years, TSE has been instrumental in assisting us in increasing the value of our World Championships and putting it to market through a new bid process. As our World Championships has strengthened we also want to ensure that our organisation, the WTBA, increases its recognition and presence throughout the world of international sport. We look forward to continuing to work with TSE, whose knowledge, contacts and professionalism are of great value to us.”

Lars Haue-Pedersen, Managing Director of TSE Consulting, said: “We look forward to continuing our work with WTBA. As a sports organisation they have a strong drive that is a real pleasure to work with. Together we hope to create new opportunities for the organisation and the sport of bowling.”
